Sore throat is one such disease in which your Tonsils will be inflamed either due to Bacterial or Fungal infection. Sore Throat can also be caused due to taking of prolonged head bath, Head bath without application of oil. Intake of Ice Creams and cold items

Sore Throat Inturn results in cold, fever, cough and difficulty in swallowing.

Best thing what one should do is to avoid above mentioned causes that may result in Sore Throat.

Ayurvedic Home Remedies in Sore Throat (Bacterial Infection)

Since this disease is caused due to swelling one should gargle slightly boiled salt water so as to decrease the swelling. Care should be taken that salt is pure in nature

Take 1 cup of warm water and add 1/2 spoon Lemon juice with 1 teaspoon of Honey, one should drink this slowly

Take 1 cup of warm water and add very little amount each of Honey, Lemon juice and crushed ginger and have it

Decoction Made out of Moringa root should be used for gargling.

Eating raw Garlic clove daily decreases repeated sore throat infection by killing the infectious bacteria

Make Decoction of Black Pepper + Salt and use this for gargling.

Add 2 teaspoons of chopped Horehound herb in 1 cup boiling water and boil it for about 10 minutes. Later strain the tea and drink it.

Add 1 teaspoon each of Cinnamon powder and Black Pepper powder to a glass of warm water. Cool the solution and gargle with it 2 to 3 times a day.

Decoction made with a hand full of Tulasi leaf and 10 pounded black pepper is added with suitable amount of Sita and should be taken frequently.

Add 1 teaspoon of the inner bark of Slippery Elm to 2 cups of boiling water. Leave it to steep for few minutes and strain the solution. Drink it slowly while it is still warm.

Eat small pieces of Pineapple slowly

Leaves of Drona Pushpi(Leucas Aspera) should be grinded with allium sativam and black pepper and should be taken

Take a steamed Apple, smash it and add some honey. Eat it for relief.
